So I just got set up with VLC Media Player last night. I'm really really
really liking what I'm seeing so far! I do have a real quick question
though. Actually, ok, two questions. First of all, I understand how to
open individual files, but let's say I wanted to open an entire folder, and
then play a whole album. Kind of like what you'd do in WinAmp with Shift+L,
to open folder. I did see that there is a table up near the top with
different things like my computer, Music, etc... kind of like the ITunes
sources list. I'll admit, I've not really played much looking in there.
You gotta remember, I've only had VLC since last night, so I've not really
had a lot of time since to play much with it, so forgive me if some of this
seems obvious.
My second question is: Once I have multiple tracks set to play back to
back, say, from an entire directory, is there a way I then can have VLC
automatically cross fade between the tracks, rather than doing like a CD,
and having gaps betwen each song? Let me clarify here... I don't want 0
seconds of silence, as in, let one track totally end, then the next start
with no space between. I literally want a true crossfade where by as one
track is finnishing, the next track fades up on top of it, kind of like
you'd get in a radio environment. Like the cross fading option within
ITunes.
Thanks for any help.
Chris.
