The issue with Terjinal is, she may not know all the different Unix commands that she'd need to get Terminal to work.

Subject: Re: accessible FTP clients?

Hello, have you tried to use terminal? If the server you are trying to connect to is a secure server the terminal will be your best bet. On the other hand if you have an account on the machine in question and just wish to connect to it in the normal way I think you can use that by means of connecting to server. Hopefully others will have some other good suggestions for you. Sincerely maurice mines.

Hi Amber,

Welcome to the list! It's Donna Goodin, formerly of the Bookshare volunteer list. Good to see you here!

I don't have an answer to your question, but just wanted to say hi and welcome. One of these days we'll have to chat off-list and find out what each other is reading lately.
Take care,
Donna

Hello all:
My name is Amber and I have had my Mac Book for almost two years now and love it. I also have an iPhone, and an airport express. I love streaming things to my stereo using the airport express.
I am new to this list so wanted to say hello.
I am also wondering if anyone knows of an accessible, relatively inexpensive FTP client for the Mac?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Amber
