Hi, I actually got my LiDE 60 collor flat bed scanner to work on 10.8.2. Also, I was able to configure VUE scan so that it now behaves much like it did before. I will, however, need to consult the set up guide recommended here earlier in order to ensure my set up is in fact correct. One thing I did notice is that now, VUE scan seems to offer auto rotation of scanned images, and, by implication, if you set up VUE scan so that it knows you're scanning text documents, and you set up an external editor to Text Edit, and if you activate auto rotation, there's a fair chance one would not even need Abby Fione Reader. But, not quite sure yet.
