Hi,

There certainly is. Go to the finder and press command+shift+G. When it asks 
where you want to go, put in this:
~/library/ 
Where the ~ is representative of your home directory. Once that folder opens, 
you'll expand the library folder and go to mail.
Expand the mail folder and delete the folder called "V2." That's all your mail 
preferences, and then when you open apple mail again, it's as if you're doing 
it for the first time.
