I run super duper and have it setup to create a system image every week going back four weeks. That to me seems sufficient, and if I need to, I can go back four weeks to restore my system. So, if something screws up badly, and I don't notice it right away, I've got a chance of restoring to a clean state before resorting to a wipe and clean install.

I know what my choice is, just wondering what others use and why between these 2 backup choices. I actually use both. Just in case. You never know. Technology is not perfect.
