That's the extention cord for the charger. The little piece that has the
foldable prongs on it can be removed from the charger, and that extention
cord attached to make a longer cord.

Subject: Macbook Air question

Hi all,
I just got an Air for my business, so I can't use it for personal stuff, but
I can still play with it! I'm unboxing it now, and I found two cables. One
is a normal charger, but the other is just a thick cable with prongs on one
end and what looks like a Mac Mini connection on the other. Obviously, no
ports on the Air will fit the larger cable, and I have no idea what it's
for. It has no transformer box like the charger, either. Any ideas? Thanks.

Have a great day,
Alex (msg sent from Mac Mini)
