Hi Wayne, Looking on Amazon, one of the reviews said that you cannot print the moment any of the cartridges run out of ink, even if you're only printing in black. I do not understand why printer manufacturers do this except for profit. I guess maybe that's enough. Does anyone know of a printer/fax/scanner combination that doesn't have this restriction? Printers used to be much simpler in the old days.
