I have noticed that when adding a loop from the loop browser to the timeline, GB creates a new track with that loop, and named after that loop. And, when creating a new track with the Command Option N key, and then selecting "software track", GB creates that track and sets it up with, and names it for the Piano.
But, when creating a new track and selecting "real track", no track appears to be created in the instrument tracks scroll area. The track headers are created in the track header group, with the name "no effect", but there is no associated track that I can find with VO in the instrument tracks scroll area. How does this work? How can I create a real track, which is initially empty, and then select it and do things with it? I thought I've seen somewhere that in a new project, without any tracks, when a real track is first created, the scroll area will be empty because nothing has been recorded yet. That The track is there, but doesn't show up in the scroll area until after something is recorded? Any clues on this one? I suppose I could always create a new real track by dropping a loop on the timeline, and then editting and renaming that track, but this just seems a little weird. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
