I don't know how to delete, sorry. To open links, press l when you are on the 
tweet you want to open. To stop the auto-complete thing, open preferences with 
cmd-comma, select the compose tab, then uncheck auto complete hashtags, or 
something along those lines. Also, you can alter the keyboard shortcuts if you 
don't like them; have a look through all the menus and options, not just 
preferences, as there's a whole lot there to customize if you want to. You can 
even set up mutes to filter out unwanted tweets based on username, hashtag, 
keyword, or even regular expression.
