Ricardo's website is:
www.AppleToTheCore.info
Type in "garageband" in the search field and it should bring up all five
podcasts. You can then either listen online, or download them for listening
with more control in iTunes or some other player.
I've found one or two things that update Ricardo's tutorials, especially
when selecting regions. Other than that, his tutorials are very good and
really helped me get familiar enough with GB to start working on my own.
P.S. that "selecting" tip I mentioned is that you sometimes have to "mouse
click" a region with VO shift Spacebar before you can edit, move, or delete
it. If a copy, delete, split or some command doesn't seem to work, mouse
click the region. if it still won't work, then it might be an illegal move,
like trying to join loops - you can only join recorded material or software
instrument regions, but not loops.
Same goes for "joining" regions - you have to do the "list select" method
for selecting multiple regions for joining. Also, an invaluable aid in
learning GB is the built-in Help. Its written from a sighted perspective,
but with a little imagination, you can get the essence of it.
good luck, I'm also working alot in GB and often have questions and tips to
share.

pritty much I need as many garage band podcasts as I can get my hands on.
I am now wanting to start to learn it.
I use samples when making music and remixing music so
so would be interested in learning that part as well.

to which GB podcasts do you refer?
Ricardo has a five part series on GB on his website. Maybe he'll chime in
and direct you. I think his website is
www.AppleToTheCore.net
Although, it might be .info - I'm not sure.

Hello where can I get the garage band podcasts at?
I can not find them on apple vis.
I am also interested in beat mapping with other tempos.
eg matching tempos with other beats so they all go together, can I also
get instructions on how to do this? if there is a auto beat mapping
feature that to would be cool or a add on that does this.
