Hello, Honestly, I've been using an IOS device since 2009, when 3.0 was released. Ever since then, I've read or, come across 1 report that mentioned some battery draining issue. I'm not saying the bug has never existed for some people on, some devices. But, I honestly don't remember it ever being a big issue except for the standby bug where devices weren't properly going into standby.
I really wouldn't worry about it. You can question 5 people about battery life and get 5 different responses. JMO.
