I wasn't able to get Thunderbird working accessibly on the Mac and the
command line interface is not working so hot either. There are a bunch
of bugs already filed against this which go back for years. It basically
comes down to Mozilla supporting the IAccessible accessibility API which
nobody has ported to OSX. They are not that interested in supporting
another API and Apple is not implementing iAccessible on OSX so the
stalemate goes on. A few folks have taken it upon themselves to try and
fix up Firefox but that's not really usable yet. At least it doesn't
matter a whole lot since Safari and Apple Mail are quite good.

Hi Chris,
How did you get it working if it's not accessible? Is there a command line
that i can do to go through the prosses? Thanks.

It's one of the few non-Apple things I never switched over to so I'll be
especially interested in any comments on how you migrate — especially
mail archives. I have them going back nearly 10 years which is part of
the baggage that has kept me off the Apple Mail goodness.

Hi, Gena:
Don't know about Thunderbird, though would suspect it is accessible. Yes, Mail can easily handle all
your accounts. This is done through System Preferences (command Comma) in the "accounts,"
tab," by clicking the "add," button. If you need more help than this, let me know.
