Hi Donna, If you place a file you wish to be available in Dropbox, all you need to do is right-click, or vo+shift+M on the file and choose the dropbox submenu. Then choose the "get link" prompt. A web page will load, and the address to your file will be displayed in the address bar. You can get to by pressing command+L. If you want to make that file available for download, make the beginning of the address like this: http://dl.dropbox.com And leave the rest of the address in tact. Then when someone opens your link, the file should automatically download. There's no need for your recipiant (s) to have their own dropbox account.
