Hi there I use RTF files and TextEdit and send them to Windows users all the time. Now it's true that these windows users have word so that is not a problem. It would seem that the only problem would be if they didn't have Word that you would not be able to send them rtf files. Of course, if you got pages, you could create either text files or word files. There are some others you can make to, but I forgot what they are. Regards Gigi
