I exported my favourites to Dropbox, and then imported that file from Dropbox
into Safari. It's really quite easy. There should be an export menu in Firefox,
probably in the file or bookmarks menu. Follow the instructions to save the
file wherever you want; on a flash disc, for example. And then choose import
from the file menu in Safari and then simply brows to the exported file from
Firefox and select it. Safari will do the rest.

I do suggest once you have imported those favourites/bookmarks, you copy them
into your Bookmarks Menu in Safari. That way you can access them from the
Bookmarks Menu in the Menu Bar in Safari.
