I'm trying to record a voicemail message from my iPhone into GarageBand on the iMac. I've decided the quick and easy way to do this is just to hold the iPhone, with speakerphone on, up to the builtin mic.
Its a late 2011 21.5 iMac. I assume the mic is in the center of the top edge of the screen, am I close? My little experiments tell me I am, but I just want to hear from someone else on this.\ Also, is it possible to use the mic on the iPhone earbuds to record? How would i set things up to do that?
