Hi Jed. Yes to both. To open a new tab, simply hit command+T. You'll then be in your address bar, so either type your address, or google search, then hit return as usual.
To move between the tabs, you have a couple of option so pick the easiest for you. One way's to quit interacting with the html area, then move up to the top of the screen, and find the tab of your choice, then vo+space on it. The other easier thing to do is to just hit ctrl+tab for the next tab, or ctrl+shift+tab, just like you did in Windows to move between the tabs. I don't do much tab browsing, but I remember that working last I tried. If it doesn't let me know and I'll look it up.
