Hi Jessica, wish I could help with that one. I don't know I do not have the 
free subscription. However when I did have the free subscription, my skips were 
limited, Yet my listening was not. The differences were if you search for a 
given artist, you got that artist along with any other similar artist, and 
anybody else they chose to throw in there. My guess is the Launch of the new 
iPhone app may have contributed to that issue. You can call them, 858-943-5000 
or email their support. Whatever complaints they get, they claim they are 
sending to their developers. Let's hope so. The iPad app is still functional. 
Also, if you have an older version of the slacker app or have not downloaded 
the new one don't. If you have an older version, synced to your computer from 
your phone and you choose to reinstall it, it will work.
