Hi, Were you able to check your GMail settings on the web interface to determine whether or not iMap was enabled for your GMail account? I have never had an issue with iMap on GMail and I use it on multiple accounts on multiple machines. I much prefer iMap to Pop as I only need to read a message once thus not having multiple copies on my various machines. I don't wish for you to have more issues and if you're totally comfortable with Pop, then great, but, in my opinion, iMap is a much better protocol.
