Hi, May,

You'd have to put the deleted items in your favorites folder in mail. The
shortcut keys go in order of the folders in the favorites bar. For instance, by
default, command-1 goes to the inbox. If you were to put deleted items in the
next spot, it would be command-2.

Here's how you put folders in the favorites bar:

Put Mail in full-screen mode with command-control-F to allow as much of it as
possible to be displayed. Now, in the folders list, go to the folder you want
to put into the favorites bar and interact with it. Press VO-comma to mark it
for dragging. Go to your favorites bar and find the place you want to put it.
You can either drop it on the spot with VO-period or you can drop it after an
existing folder with VO-shift-period.

As an aside VO-shift-comma will insert a folder shortcut to the left of your
current location, VO-period on your location, and VO-shift-period to the right
of your current location.

VO will make dragging noises and say: "inserting (name of folder(. You should
be set.

Teresa
