Hi Guys,

I learned from the various tuttorials for Garageband how to expand a loop. But
what I didn't get was how to expand a loop let say from bar 1 to 24 but mute it
in bars 8 to 12. I know Riccardo Walker showed it but I didn't get it right. At
the moment I just copy the loop twice and expand it but that needs two tracks
and shouldn't be the best way to do it. So could someone explain how to do that?

And another question: Is it possible to insert a sound into an existing track?
All I managed so far was to copy a loop to a new track by just pressing CMD +
v. But that means each little ding has its own track. Quite confusing to have
so many tracks and I suppose there must be a better way to do it.

Thanks and all the best
Jürgen
