Hi,

Apple sells something called a USB Super Drive that will definitely do the job.
It is a USB 3 drive, so a very fast transfer rate and does CD/DVD Read/Write.
Lots of folks simply leave the external Super Drive at home so they only need
to carry around the very light computer. The external Super Drive usually runs
for about $79 or so and is available through Apple or other tech providers that
sell Apple products.
