Hi,
OK, Apple's Accessibility Department told me to purchase an Ethernet
cable, as there's content on other computers I would like to have, if at all
possible. If everything can be done without it though, that's great!

  Hi,

I believe that it is a MacBook Pro. Many of the new models of MBP come with
Flash Storage instead of the spinning HD. The migration can be done wirelessly
so the ethernet adaptors are not totally necessary. Follow the prompts within
the Migration Assistant and everything should work out fine.

  Later...

    Also,

I don't think she has a Mac Book Pro. I think it's a Mac Book Air, since
there's no CD drive on board.

So, if that's the case, she'll need a USB to ethernet adaptor before she
can transfer anything directly.

I do have a question though.

Where did you get your Mac Anita? Did you go to the Apple store somewhere,
and if so, where?
If not, what prompted you to buy an Apple?
