Hi Donna, This is not strange, it all depends on how long the file takes to upload to the website, file size is a factor in this, as well as your Internet speed. With my 4 MB connection it takes a while, especially when uploading huge files. This is unfortunately something I do more often than not.
Smaller files such as text documents and Pages documents, is almost instantaneous.
