Hi david,  You can use dictation for lazy jobs like working up a quick email 
without typing.  The dictation options are in system preverences/dictation and 
speech.  That won't do for x-code though I believe.  You need way more 
precision for that application than dictation is capable of delivering.

So, I think you should take the keyboard to your heart, learn to touch type if 
you can, and learn some of the commands to adjust visual settings on the fly to 
maximize your use of  your computer.
