Hello,
What you suggest may be a port issue. Are both machines attempting
access through the same router? Are the sites attempted using standard
ftp ports? Are you both using the same client? Can she ping the ftp
site? Is it every ftp site?
A lot more info is required. Have you tried doing a web search on the
error observed?
