When I was exploring different podcast options, one service I stumbled upon was
a service called "blog talk radio", of which I think you can just add a.com to
the end of that, to find their website. Apparently, it allowed individuals to
set up an online podcast, and my others tune into it. They have a free option
which lets you do a 30 minute show once a week. The Listeners can call in and
interact with the show as well. Your show is then archived on their website as
a podcasts, and if I am correct they will allow you to utilize a WordPress
plug-in to push your podcasts to your website. Unfortunately however, I didn't
actually get an opportunity to set up a show, and see how accessible it was. I
personally would be interested to find out if you experience anything with
their website, and what it is like related to accessibility. Send me an
iMessage if you have anymore questions, or reply to this email. The number you
can iMessage me at is 406-212-8503. Or, utilize the email address in the header
information of this message, to send me an iMessage.
Thank you
Michael PS, please, if you tried this service out, let me know how the live
dashboard for the podcast or works. It honestly might be something that would
work great for your podcasts, and provide you with more listener interaction.
Listeners like to interact when they know they will be heard on a show. One tip
for you however, they provide you with a long distance phone number, it may be
in your interest to check out a service such as phone.com, or something of that
nature to provide your listeners with a toll-free number they can call in on.
This number then could also be utilized to keep your listener comments as well.
That way listeners only have to remember one number, and, you don't have to pay
blog talk extra for a toll-free number
