I keep the official YouTube app around, because sometimes when you click through to links from news sites or blogs, the YouTube app automatically launches and plays a clip. MacTube is good, but I personally like the YouPlayer App. It looks and feel very much like the old Apple YouTube client but with much more power. It's regularly updated and maintained.
