I'm sure it will be obvious - I've had sighted people use my mac before, and, 
though it takes a bit, they get the hang of things very quickly. Apple is good 
about providing visual cues that make it clear how something is supposed to 
work; if there should be  a handle to drag, I'm sure it would appear if, as you 
said, you had more in your dock. I'm not sure, but I thought I heard somewhere 
that everything fits into the dock, shrinking as necessary. Once you mouse over 
an item, it enlarges, but I am thinking everything fits on one screen. I could 
be wrong, though.

I just want to add that, vo or not, ctrl-f3 (add function if necessary) will 
focus you on the dock.
