Hi all,
I am creating a set of Applescripts I think many of us will find quite useful.
In doing so, however, I am running into needing to use a few functions again
and again across these scripts, so I put the functions into a utilities script.
I can call them, but I can't work out how to set variables in my scripts to
what is returned. For instance, if a function in the utilities script returns a
number, how would I put that number into a variable in whichever script called
the function? the problem is in mixing tell and set - I am not sure what the
order should be. I can't seem to get Google to give me an answer, so if anyone
can help, please respond (off-list is probably best). Thanks.

Have a great day,
Alex (msg sent from Mac Mini)
