Totally forget it Mike. It isn't possible now and it isn't likely to ever be possible. Not, unless that is, you want to install and run windows on yoru Mac. Some have done this: but I, for one, will NEVER EVEr EVER do that. My best answer to your delema is that, if you have an Iphone, get the Audible app. Nice and accessible and easy. To speak frankly, the very issue you raise in your question is the critically important factor which led me to go the Iphone rout rather than the new Generation Victor Reader Stream rout. Am I ever glad I did: because, you see, I have noticed severle people saying on the Victor Reader Stream list that they have been experiencing volume wowes on their units since the upgrade. Best way to solve your problem-at least in my opinion-is just to go the Iphone rout.
