I have a bit of a predicament.

I need to find an encoder that will allow me to encode, not keeping the
original source files, that will take a standard AVI formatted movie file, and
will reencode those files into a format which can be played by both iTunes and
by my Apple TV. I need something that will convert these files in a batch, as
I probably have in the neighborhood of a few hundred that I need to do, which
spans over about 35.01 gigs of data. I really don't want to have to browse
for, and do this on an individual file per file basis. It's gonna take long
enough as is, just to do this all in one shebang, let alone doing them all
individually.

The ultimate goal here is to be able to play these files both on my mac mini,
as well as be able to watch them in my bedroom on my Apple TV.

Your help would be very gratefully accepted.

Thank you tremendously.

Chris.
