Hi,

I believe that the Apple TV requires Home Sharing to be able to pull things
from the local network. Music and other media that is purchased through Apple
and thus stored in iCloud can also be streamed to the Apple TV but I'm pretty
sure that regular sharing is not compatible due to the method of sharing.
