We don't even know if the article is correct. It is possible that those
notes were from some developer spilling the beans and posting the update
list from a 10.8.4 beta, but that's the point: it's a beta. As to when it
will come out, it could be months yet, no one knows. The last update
(10.8.3) went through 13 betas before it was released, and this one has had
four or six, I can't remember. Yes, it could be out tomorrow, but it could
as easily be quite a while, that's just how Apple works.
That said, I can't wait, and I really hope the update includes the
improvements they said. I think text works well, but PDF reading is
horrible, so I hope they fix that. The only thing I can think of in terms of
text is table support, which would be a very welcomed addition to VO.
