Well, I can confirm the single page mode problem. In single page mode, PDFs don't seem to be seen with VoiceOver. However, in continuous mode, it's fine. It seems that navigation is improved. When you use the, go to page, command, it actually moves you. Also, if you reopen Preview after you had been on a specific page, it seems to remember your location when you open it again.
I don't notice anything in text edit or pages yet. Take Care John D.
