Hi, If you use the iMap protocol for your GMail account, you can share mailboxes, messages and such between machines. As long as you've got both machines set to use GMail iMap servers, all messages you delete from one machine are also deleted from the other, Messages you move to specific mailboxes are also moved within both machines. This is because, the messages and mailboxes are, for the most part, all kept on the GMail servers. You can tell Mail to keep copies locally for off-line viewing if necessary but the master record is still kept on the GMail server. Apple's iCloud also uses the iMap protocol so it works in the same way. In both cases, it is easy to move old messages that you already have on your Mac into folders that reside on the iMap servers. I do this all the time when I wish to save important eMails from my home Pop account for access on other devices. I simply press VO-shift-m on the message I wish to move, select Move to and pick a Mailbox on my iCloud account. Therefore, a message that originally was received via my Pop account, is transferred quickly over to my iCloud account that is accessible from my iPhone or other devices anytime, anywhere.
