So here's the situation.

My company consists of two employs: myself, and one other gentlemen who lives all the way on the other side of the country. At any rate, We're using a PBX in a Flash Purple, server with Free PBX 2.10 to run our telephone system. This means obviously, we're back boning off of Asterisk. At any rate, that's not exactly rellavant, I know, but I wanted you all to know our hardware setup so you all could make the best suggestion. I currently have an IPhone 5, nonjailbroken, and have no intention of doing so, so don't ask me to. I'm running Media5 Sip Phone, and have all the in app premium purchases for the app as well including the G729A codec. Plus, on my desk, for when I'm not on the go, I have a Linksys Sipura Spa 210 which is unlocked and configured to our sip server which is using google voice both for its in and outbound trunk. Anyway, so here is my question.

I need to get an app for my IPhone, or for my mac, but preferably! for my IPhone, which would be accessible with Voiceover, obviously, but would have intercom cabability. Media5 Sip Phone doesn't offer this, and neither does Bria nor any of the other ones I've tried. Basically, I know I could just use something like Voxer or Haytel, etc. but that really defeats the purpose. I really don't wanna go outside my pbx if I can help it. I know that Express Talk both on the Mac, and on the Windows side of things definitely! provided you have the Professional license, which I do, I bought it about a year ago, unknowing, but the problem is, I've not found any way to configure it where it will work on any router. I've tried it with Belcon routers, all different makes of Linksys/cisco both with hacked and with nonhacked firmwares, I've tried with an airport extreme, as well as with an express, I've tried with a Netgear, and even with a DLink, which was a nightmare if ever there were one as far as accessibility goes. I wrote NCH's tech support, and they were incredibly unhelpful, just pointing me back to documentation to read online. I've tried literally everything in those docs, plus probably way more, but no matter what, I cannot get the stupid thing to register correctly on the sip server, on port 5060, but that's for another post altogether. The point is, I can't use that, nor hardly any other sip client on the Windows/Mac/Linux side of things due to this hurtle. I don't know what made Telephone on the mac work, or why all the IPhone apps I've tried seem on my wifi network to connect just fine, but forget anything OSX/Windows/Linux based. Obviously, Telephone doesn't have an intercom option, so that's out of the question. If any of you wanna try helping me get Express Talk to work on my mac, over my network, be my guest, as if you all can figure out what the hell's going on, I'll love you all forever! Being I myself am a certified network admin, I must admit that I'm feeling really stupid for not being able to figure this out, but I've looked practically everywhere.

Anyway, I'll post another mail which is more specific to the issue with Express Talk, and if you wanna take a stab at it, just let me know. Unless one of you all tries helping me though, I've pretty well given up on that option entirely. I even had another guy who's name I won't mention who tried for almost 4 hours straight! to help me with this and couldn't figure it out. He isn't a certified tech, and frankly, though I won't go into the details of why, I'd not trust this idiot as far as you could throw them after certain circumstances which occured, however, I will say this much. I absolutely hate admitting it, but this guy does in most cases no his sh**. Sometimes I wonder if he knows too much for his own good, but anyway, that's neither here nor there. Point being, he! couldn't figure it out back in the days either, try as he did. So, yeah, basically, what the ultimate goal is is I'd like to get it where I could pick up my sipura extension, dial a feature code, and then be able to say something like: Joe Bird? Call on park 1? Joe bird? Call on Park 1. and it be fed out as an all-call to everyone with a connected intercom. I know! there are sip clients that will do this, I just don't know any of them nor how to configure them. Just for your reference, This is a Linksys WRT 54S wireless router that I currently am using. Raul, I know you're on the list, as you're one of the mods. I also know you guys back in the days when we talked a couple a times on the phone told me that you all had a Linksys. I don't recall what model you said it was, but I do remember you being extremely familiar with it, and telling me it was in the wrt series. So, if nothing else, and no one else chimes in, maybe you! may have some ideas.

Anyway, you all let me know.

Chris.
