Well, as for me, I use Amadeus Pro: that is, if I bother converting to mp3 at all. Nowadays, I really don't bother much with mp3. You might, however, try looking for an app called mp3 converter. What it does is that it adds an option to the convert file option in the short cut menu so that you can select audio files and then change them in to mp3.
