Last week, I posted about a problem I had with iTunes giving me an error
message when I try to open it. The message says that the file itunes library
idl can't be read because it was created with a newer version of itunes. The
problem seemed to be fixed by installing the application from a download, since
Apple update had no new software for me. But now the problem is back. And
reinstalling from the downloaded iTunes does not make the problem go away.
There is clearly something wrong somewhere, but I'm not a unix geek and
wouldn't know where to start looking. Perhaps a trip to the Mac store is the
way to solve this, although it'd be nice not to have to go that route.
