Lol, Isn't it a bit inevitable? I have seen the same thing on Android lists when others dare to mention IOS. In this case, I think the criticism is half way valid though. Just half way mind you. For example, browsing the file structure? That's really not what IOS is about. I can definitely see why many would want to have such access, such a feature but, most who like IOS, I think like that that part of the OS is out of sight, out of mind. Naturally, everyone uses their devices differently but, I think IOS has always been about getting rid of some of the tedium of the average computing experience. Same goes with USB storage. On the outside, this makes sense but, how many times have I heard IOS owners over the last few years talking about cutting the cord to their computers? In my opinion, this kinda gets away from that. Especially with the explosion of cloud computing the last 4 years or so. Really, for most who have smartphones, how many of them also use dropbox, google drive, or, sky drive? I'm betting an awful lot. As a quick pole of members of the list, how many times do you even connect your Android or IOS device to your computer? Obviously, I realize my usage isn't going to be like everyone else's but, for me, literally months. Yes months since I've plugged my iPhone or, nexus 7 into my Mac.
Now, about choosing third party default keyboards and the necessity to have duplicate TTS's, I agree with. These are things I hope change in IOS 7, and just wasn't talked about yesterday. Quite honestly, I didn't expect them to be mentioned though. For most, these are minor things I would guess. Just my 2 cents. :) Ricardo Walker [email protected] Twitter:@apple2thecore www.appletothecore.info On Jun 11, 2013, at 6:06 AM, "Blake Sinnett" <[email protected]> wrote: > Ahh. Gotta love it.
