Absolutely! That will be found under settings, Bluetooth.
2. Ddoes it come with Textedit or similar?
Not per sé. You do have the Notes app, which will sort of work as a text
editer, but your best bet would probably be to get a copy of Pages for IOS.
It isn't free, but it is very reasonably priced.
3. I would like to take any photos from her iPad and store them on my Mac
that is backed up to Carbonite. We don't use iCloud so how would I transfer
the pictures to my computer? We have a wireless network if this can be used.
OK, this can be done one of 2 ways. Your best option probably will be to
use Image Capture which can be found in the Utilities folder of your Mac, by
pressing command+shift+U from the finder. The other way would be to set up
an IPhoto library, and then sync them to IPhoto. This could be done over
either USB or over wifi.
