I am running the latest version of the OS. Often, when launching mail, I wait almost a minute for the inbox to be displayed. It's a G Mail account. I have about 5000 messages in my inbox currently. I checked the Activity Monitor when this delay occurs, and mail is using from 30 to 40% of CPU. Once the inbox loads, that number drops to 0 or 0.1. Is there anything I can do about this delay?
