Hi, Take a look in the Preferences panes of Messages in the Accounts pane. Make sure that your Apple ID account is selected. Confirm the following:
• You are properly signed in with your Apple ID. • the account is enabled. • Also confirm that specific phone numbers and eMail addresses are active within the "You can be Reached for Messages At" Table. Things to note as well are that any messages you send using your Apple ID must be sent to other people with an Apple ID that is registered with the iMessages server. Simply having an Apple ID is not enough, the person must have registered their account within Messages either on their Mac or iDevice. The registration is automatic when they set up their account within the Messages app but must be done there. HTH. Later...
