Hi there This battery pack that I have that I got from the Apple store is a little over hundred dollars. It will charge the iPhone several times, and I understand it will work on an iPad as well. It has ports for two devices to be charged at one time. This gives you extra power you can carry around in your purse or whatever other Bag you have. Regards, Gigi
