Hi,

To clarify further, Apple has three wireless router options:

• An Airport Express is a compact wireless router with the added feature of
being able to stream your iTunes music through it directly to a set of speakers
or a sound system. Wireless B/G/ A/N.

• An Airport Extreme is a more powerful wireless router that has more LAN
ports, faster processor, faster WIFI connectivity and better range, but does
not have the streaming music option. Wireless B/G A/N and AC, the latest
protocol.

• A time Capsule is pretty well an Airport Extreme with a built in HD primarily
used for backups through Time Machine.

HTH.
