Actually, I run my own web hosting service. If you need someone reliable
with an uptime of 99.9% which has plans starting at $5 a month, and going up
from there, let me know. Yes, we can install Wordpress for you absolutely
no problem at all, and we even can help you migrate your old blog over for a
small fee.
I'd encourage you to go to
http://my.clgproductions.com
click on Account, and then register. Just signing up for a client account
is 100% free, no captcha or any of that stupid stuff. Just very straight
forward.
Once you're on our page, if logged in, click on services, then order
services.
If you're not logged in, you'll simply click the button from the u r l
listed above to browse the order form. From here, you can see what all web
hosting packages we offer as well as the other services we offer in addition
to web hosting. We are powered by Cent-OS running CPanel, and we even give
you a complementary configuration of both Fantastico, as well as
Softtaculous which are both used for doing one click installs via a web
interface to modules like Wordpress, Droople, Joomla, etc.
All of those installs are automatic with no human intervension on the back
end, and all are totally free to install on your web hosting account, and
yes, we will help you get your domain names transfered over to our name
servers free of charge with absolutely no charge at all.
Let us know if we can be of any help.
Also, you can call our sales department if you have any questions along the
way.
704-256-0067 and then choose option 1 from the main menu.
Chris.

I check the name servers and they still seem to be filled out correctly.
Nothing is different than before. I will just wait and see what happens.
What hosting service do you use?

Personally, I'd never use Dream Host. They appeared to be excellent
until my first anual bill was due, then things became a disaster.

Subject: Help with DNS settings please!
Hi everyone,
I need help with fixing a broken website.
My domain name is registered through Wordpress.com but self hosted at
dream host.
Well apparently my automatic renewal of the domain name wasn't set up
after all and it expired last night.
I've since renewed it but when the url is visited it takes me back to
the old Wordpress blog I was using originally not the self hosted site.
I am guessing that the dns settings pointing the domain name to dream
host broke when the domain expired and now I don't know how to fix it.
I refreshed the domain on dream host but it hasn't helped.
Can anyone give me some other things to try here? I am lost now.
Feel free to email me off list.
Skype or facetime are options too it they're needed.
Thanks for any help.
Mike
