Hi,

further to my original message, and in addition to Alex's list of commands for
"Left, Center and RIght" justification, it is very easy to create your own
shortcut for the "Justify" command.

1. Open System Preferences.
2. Navigate to the Keyboard pane.
3. Select the Keyboard shortcut tab.
4. Interact with the Shortcut Categories table and select Application
shortcuts at the end of the list.
5. Stop Interacting with that Table and navigate over to the Application
Shortcuts table
6. If TextEdit is already in there then select it otherwise proceed to #7.
7. Press on the "Add an Application Shortcut" button.
8. Make sure that TextEdit is the chosen application from the pop-up.
9. Enter "Justify" in the name field. Make sure it is spelled with a Capital
"j" and that it is spelled correctly.
10. Give it a keyboard shortcut such as "cmd-shift-j". Make sure it is not
something that is commonly used by the OS like "cmd-j" otherwise it may mess up
the original command.

That should do it. Now, if you chose cmd-shift-j, you could have a section of
text highlighted in TextEdit, press cmd-shift-j and it would justify it.

HTH.

Hi,

1. Bullets and numbering? Yes. There is a pop-up menu that is titled "List
Style". It gives you choices of varying bullets and numbering.

2. Justifying text. Doable yes, but no shortcut that I'm aware of. You may
be able to use the Keyboard pane in System Prefs to create your own but I've
not tried this yet so can't give any instructions.

3. Google Spreadsheet. In Safari, on an existing spreadsheet, navigate to the
cell you wish to edit, route your mouse to the VO-cursor with VO-cmd-f5 (add FN
if necessary), click your mouse or trackpad. This should activate the cell,
double-click to edit then the mode should change and you should now be able to
use arrow keys, the tab key and return key to enter what you wish. Sometimes,
it is difficult to land specifically in the cell you wish so I usually use this
method on an existing cell then tab or arrow to get to the cell I wish. It's
not pretty but it seems to work for me.
