What do you mean by it "cannot find my hometown"? Does it show a different 
town, like Apple's headquarters, or does it show nothing, or an error, or old 
weather data, or something else? Have you tried launching the default weather 
app (do a Spotlight search if you can't find it on any home screen) to see if 
that resets your location?
