Hi all, I have a copy of Pages on an old Mac which I'm using to see if it is worth the $20. It is, to my knowledge, up to date as of last summer.
I would like to design a brochure for a meeting next week, just some information on my company to pass out to others at the meeting. I chose "brochure" from the templates, and now see a whole lot of things with which to interact. I managed to find page 1, and inside that a textbox, but I seem unable to edit this box. When I type, I get the usual "invalid keystroke" tone the Mac makes when you press something wrong. Furthermore, there seems to be a great deal of Latain in the two page groups and I have no idea what it means. What am I doing wrong? Do I ned to update Pages (meaning, I think, buying it for my own ID)? I'm okay with buying it, I just thought I'd use this old copy to see if it is something I'd use enough to justify the price. Thanks for any help. Have a great day, Alex (msg sent from Mac Mini) [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
