Subject: Re: Finding out how much ram your mac can take

I am also interested in that. however, when I try to get the tool, the site
seems to make it invisible. WHen I first hit the site, the heading what
there, now it isn't and I can't seem to find the tool anywhere.

and in that section, go to system scanner. It's a link and once you click on
that you will be abel to download it and after you download it, like I have
said, well.. open up the disk image and just open up the application. You
do not need to copy the app over to your applications folder. open the app
and it will take only a few seconds and it will begin to open up in your web
browser and show you the results and it will tell you how much ram it can
take and all kinds of stuff. it will even tell you how many slots you have
for the ram and you will be able to order it on line depending on how much
ram you want to get upgraded. I am upgrading my mac form 2 gigs to 8 gigs
and it only was for 70 bucks. They will even give you installation
instructions on how to do it yourself. This is so cool because I am going to
be doing this by myself and if you want, if things go right and I get it
correctly installed. If you still have trouble installing it, I can help you
with that if you want. thanks.
